Elder, Roy

Sgt Elder of Douthat Oklahoma and Miss Bella Friser married two years ago in Queensland. Mrs. Elder was among the first invasion of Australian war brides into this community. She and her 6 month old daughter Karen Judith Elder arrived Sunday, accompanied by the Sergeant's mother, Mrs. Rona Elder of Douthat. She came by boat with 300 other war brides or fiancees of United States service men. The trip took 15 days and the group arrived in San Francisco California where Rona Elder met them. Sgt. Elder is with the armed forces somewhere in New Guinea.
