Dawson, Carter

son of Jim Dawson of Picher, was struck by a taxicab Saturday afternoon on US Highway 66 about one mile north of Miami and died in the Miami hospital at 3:15 that afternoon. Dawson's injuries consisted of a crushed head and compound fractures of both legs. Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Dawson, a son Charles Dawson; his mother Mrs. Kitty Parker, two brothers, Ed Dawson of Bentonville Arkansas and Kary Dawson in the Army overseas, and a sister, Mrs. Harry Gordon of Picher.
