Mrs. Beverly Dodson Davis was informed Sunday for telegram that her husband, Pfc Davis, had died Jul 26, 1944, somewhere in England. Mrs. Davis resides with her parents Mr and Mrs Harry Dodson at 607 North Francis street, Picher Oklahoma. Davis was born in Picher 20 years of age. He had worked for the Tri-State Zinc company at the time of his induction into the Army in Jan 1942. No details as to the cause of his death were given. Clyde and Beverly were married in Feb 1942 and have one child, Terry Phillip Davis.
