Mrs. Mary Dell Culter, 517 North Picher street, Picher was informed Dec 6, 1944, that her husband, Private First Class Culter died Nov 13, 1944 of wounds suffered the preceding day on the battlefields of France. She had been informed Nov 29, that her husband had been wounded. He had served with the armed forces for a year and had been overseas only two months. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Culter, formerly of Cardin Oklahoma, who now live at Pittsburg. He attended Picher school and was employed in California at the time of his induction. A two year old daughter, Blenda Dell Culter, also survives him. A burial place is not given.
