became the owner of W. C. Harp's No. 1 Grocery and Market on South Main street. Crossland opened a barbershop in 1830 in Picher, prior to that he worked in the mines for six years. He took active charge of the store on February 5, 1945, having retired from his barber shop which is known as the Nu Way, upon the advice of his physician.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Crossland and daughter were in Picher Monday from their fishing lodge down on the lake where they have moved on account of Mr. Crossland's health. They recently disposed of their resident and barber shop in Picher to M. E. Hopkins. Mr. Crossland recently sold his grocery store on South Main, Picher which he had purchased of W. C. Harp.
