age 21, was killed in action in Belgium on Jan 18, 1945. Prior to his entering the Army about two years ago he was associated with his father in operating an ice plant in Picher. He has served in the European theatre of operations for the past three months after receiving training at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri and Camp Breckenridge Kentucy. He is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Orval Cooper of Chetopa Kansas; a brother Harry Cooper Kansas City; and two sisters, Mrs. Della Rader of Tulsa Oklahoma and Mrs. Irene McFerron of Miami.
