Saturday evening, Dec 23, 1944, the Cook's Grocery in Cardin Oklahoma will close its doors and cease to exist after having been in business for a period of five and a half years. The family will retire to a small farm which they have purchased, located about half way between Sail Boat Bridge and Grove Oklahoma , with a long shore line and excellent building sites for cabins.
