Conway, Ella Mae

age 82, resident of Joplin Missouri, died in a nursing home at Joplin on Tuesday morning, after an illness of many months, brought about from a fall in which she suffered a broken hip. She was the grandmother of Floyd Conway in who home she had visited many times. Born Jun 25, 1862 in Fort Scott Kansas and was the widow of Morgan Conway, who died in 1936. Both were pioneer residents of Joplin. Surviving are a son, Hugh M. Conway, manager of Sagmount Inn; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Morgan Conway, Floyd Conway, Harry Conway, Alvin Lauener, Alvin Lauener, Jr. And Harold Jones, grandsons and great grandsons of the departed. Hurlbut funeral home, Joplin.
