of Commerce Oklahoma , a helper on an ore hauling dump truck received a fracture to his right foot at 12:30 Saturday afternoon at the St. Louis Ballard Mine two miles west of Baxter Springs Kansas when he stepped from a truck and fell and the truck rolled over his foot. It was his first day on the job. He was brought to the Picher hospital, Picher, in an ambulance.
