Abstract Data

35 years old, of Baxter Springs Kansas, died at a Joplin Missouri hospital last week. He is the son of Mrs. R. Kirpatrick of Picher. He had been in ill health for the past year and a half and was bedfast the last five weeks. He was a miner and had last worked for the Hunt and Craig Mining Company. Survived also by his widow, Mrs. Irma Catheart; his father, Charles Catheart; one brother, Lawrence Catheart, all of Baxter Springs; and two sisters, Mrs. Roy McWithy of Commerce Oklahoma and Mrs. Pauline Call of Baxter. A brother Private First Class Charles Leonard Catheart was killed in action in Italy in November 1945. Burial place not given.
