funeral services for Carpenter, who died at his home Jun 5, 1945, were held Friday afternoon, Picher. Pallbearers were: W. E. Pilgrim, Marion Toms, W. C. Novak, Carl D. Reedy, Antonio P. Bettega, Melvin Durham, Charles Osborne and J. M. Osborne. Honorary pallbearers were Miles Landis, Harry Sprague George Cos, L. J. Bowers, Robert Stroop, Claud Jones, Howard Hampton and Clint Niday.
