Breeden, Nadine L.

27 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Breeden, South College street, Picher, died at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at the Miami hospital following an illness of only 12 hours. She had been taken to the hospital after becoming quite ill early Saturday morning. Miss Breeden has been a teacher of the Central ward school for the past five years. She was a graduate of the Picher High School, the Junior College at Miami and the State Teachers college at Tahlequah. She had been a resident in Picher for 19 years. The schools of the district closed at noon Tuesday to enable teachers and pupils to attend her funeral. She is survived by her parents; and one brother, Corporal Robert Breeden, with the First army in Germany. Webb City Missouri funeral home. Burial in the Carterville Missouri cemetery.
