Vandorn, Loren Dean

"Silvereagle" VanDorn of Grove Oklahoma, died Jul 4, 1998 of a heart attack, age 76. Born Jun 28, 1922, at West Seneca on Ottawa Shawnee allotted land. He worked in the area in the hard rock lead and zinc mines until they were closed. An Army veteran of World War II, beginning Nov 2 1942 and was honorable discharged on Dec 21, 1945. Married White Dove Lorraine Enke on Jun 30, 1970 at Neosho Missouri, she survives. Indian graveside services at Burkhart cemetery, Racine Missouri.
