Patton, John Alex

age 82, of Miami, died Feb 13, 1999 at Miami hospital. Born Mar 4, 1916 in rural Ottawa county Oklahoma to Albert Leslie Patton and Zella LaVeta Davis Patton. An Army veteran, served in World War II. He was a cannoneer in the Battery B 48th Field Artillery Battalion. He fought in the Central pacific campaign, the Aleutian Islands campaign and the Philippine Islands campaign. After the war he moved back to Miami. Burial in the Ottawa Indian cemetery near Miami.
