Franklin, Harley W.

born Feb 13, 1906, at Buffalo Missouri, to John Franklin and Catherine America Rush Franklin. He had been a farmer and worked for the Cities Service Gas Company in pipeline construction. He retired in 1959. Married Carrie Mae Howard on Dec 1, 1926, in Ottawa County. She preceded him in death in July 1976. Also preceded in death by two daughters, Virginia Franklin Black on Oct 17, 1999, and Patricia Franklin McCray in 1997; seven brothers and sisters; and a grandchild, Tommy McBrien. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Franklin Fisher of Fairland, and Marcia Franklin Heitsman of Spanaway Washington; two sons, Bill Franklin of La Junta Colorado, and J. R. Franklin of Fairland; a sister, Mrs. Bonita McCleary of Tulsa; 18 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren.

age 93, of Fairland Oklahoma, died Nov 10, 1999, at Grand Lake Villa Nursing Center in Grove Oklahoma.
