Crossland, John W.

"Jay" Crossland of Treece Kansas, died Jul 12, 1998 at a Joplin Missouri hospital. Born Sep 22, 1925 at Commerce Oklahoma. He was a former hard rock lead and zinc miner in the area. An Army veteran of World War II, serving in Burma, China and India. His wife Jo E. Crossland survives. Burial in Greenlawn cemetery, in Cherokee county Kansas, northwest of Treece.
