Virginia "Ginny" Franklin Jones Black, age 69, of Grove Oklahoma, died Oct 14, 1999, after a lengthy illness. Born Apr 20, 1930, to Harley Franklin and Carrie Mae Howard Franklin. She attended and graduated from Fairland Oklahoma schools. Married James "J. C." Black on Nov 22, 1972, at Vinita Oklahoma, he survives. They moved to Grove in 1976, coming from Afton Oklahoma. She is also survived by her father, Harley Franklin, Fairland; three sons, Don Black and wife Belle Jones, Fairland; Eddie Jones, Grove; Vernon and wife Terri Black, Afton; three daughters, Vicky Romans and husband Danny Romans, Chelsea Oklahoma; Cathy Gladdish and husband Gary Gladdish, White Salmon Washington; and Valoy Delisea, Winthrop Washington; two brothers, Bill Franklin, LaHunta Colorado; and J. R. Franklin, Fairland; two sisters, Shirley Fisher, Fairland; and Marcie Hitesman, Seattle Washington; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial Fairland cemetery.
