age 22, of Welch Oklahoma, died Aug 15, 2000, at Joplin Missouri. Born Feb 16, 1978, in Roseville California. She was the first child to receive a heart-lung transplant at Stanford university Hospital, and then after her lungs began to fail because of rejection, she received a second heart-lung transplant in 1990 and enjoyed eight years of good health. Problems then took their toll and her death occurred after total kidney failure, dialysis and a series of illnesses. She was the longest living two time heart-lung transplant recipient from Stanford University. Burial was under the direction of the Thomas Funeral Home chapel, Welch. No burial place was given.
