Watermelon, Annie

age 88, died Sep 13, 2001, a life-long resident of Jay Oklahoma. Born Feb 19, 1913, in Delaware county Oklahoma to John Watermelon and Luella Peak Watermelon. She was a full-blood member of the Cherokee Nation. Even though she had no children of her own, she was known as "grandma" to all children and loved them all as her own.
