Simmons, Roy E.

died Jun 5, 2000, at the home of his niece and her husband, Wanda Russell and Don Russell, Miami. He was 85. Born Apr 18, 1915, in Hollow, to James Marion Simmons and Ruby Leona Foster Simmons. A veteran of World War II, where he served in the military police for five years. He was a member of the Cherokee Tribe. Spouse Eva Simmons preceded him in death on Dec 9, 1993. Married Martha Bryrum on Sep 2, 1994. She preceded him in death on Sep 29, 1999. Ellis Family funeral home, Grove Oklahoma. Burial at Hickory Grove cemetery, near Grove Oklahoma.
