age 79, of Fairland Oklahoma, died Jan 13, 2000, at Miami.

Born Jul 31, 1920 in Perry Oklahoma. A veteran, entered the service with the Oklahoma National Guard 45th Infantry Division and served during World War II as a master sergeant and forward observer in the European Theatre Operation. He was a prisoner of war in Germany. He later served in the reserves and had as total of 19 years of service. On Nov 30, 1947, he married Rose E. Steffens in Fairland Oklahoma. Cooper-Althouse funeral home. Burial in the Fairland cemetery.
