"Rusty" Schmidt, died from injuries received in an automobile accident. Born Nov 21, 1962, in Bartlesville Oklahoma to Sidney Schmidt and Sammie Tyner Schmidt. A member of the Seneca-Cayuga, Peoria, Cherokee and Absentee Shawnee Indian tribes. Burial at the Peoria Indian cemetery, southeast of Quapaw. Indian rites are by Bill Blalock and Brian White.
