Pitcher, George Payton

age 81, a retired attorney and long-time resident of Vinita Oklahoma, died at the Claremore Veterans Center. Born on Jan 23, 1919 in Welch Oklahoma. An Army Air Corps veteran served as a first lieutenant during World War II, as a bombardier with the 42nd Bomb Group, 100th Bomb Squadron. Burial at the William's Timberhill cemetery.
