Mount, Betty Lou

Miami, died Mar 12, 2000. She was 78. She was born Oct 8, 1921, at Sarcoxie Missouri, to Virgil Scroggsand Clara Chandler Scroggs. The first woman in Ottawa county Oklahoma to serve with the WACS. An Army veteran, she served during World War II. She married Charles Wesley Mount on Oct 19, 1946, at Columbus Kansas, he survives. Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami. Burial is in Bland cemetery, southeast of Miami.
