born Feb 6, 1900, at Weir Kansas to Dennis Moran and Minnie Moran. He was a member of the second graduating class of the Miami School of Mines, Miami, and the Missouri School of Mines in 1927, with a mining engineer degree. Worked for the Commerce Mining and Royalty Company and later as chief engineer at Eagle-Picher, retiring in 1966. Married Conzada Faye Moran Sep 20, 1933. She preceded in death on Mar 17, 2000. Burial G.A.R. cemetery, Miami.
