Mahurin, Ryan

Ottawa county Farmers Union recently awarded Ryan Mahurin, a 2001 Fairland Oklahoma High School graduate, a $500 scholarship available through a matching partnership between the county organization and state Oklahoma Farmers Union office. Mahurin plans to apply the scholarship while attending NEO A&M College at Miami, to earn a bachelor's degree in forestry and seek employment with the forestry service in Oklahoma. Mahurin received honor roll, honor society and Top Scholar a student recognition in high school.
