Women of the Community Section. A photo. The 74 year old mayor of Peoria Okla is known for her good home cooking, especially her pies. Mayor of Peoria for 12 years, she has helped the town by seeking various grants and other help. Through her guidance, the park is being updated with new equipment. A walking track has also been created around the park. Through her work and the coordinated help of Quapaw Okla, the town is getting its own volunteer fire department. The department will be a secondary station for Quapaw's volunteer fire department.
