age 57, died Feb 15, 2000, at Montgomery Alabama. A veteran, on May 1, 1988, he retired from the U.S. Air Force at the highest enlisted rank of chief master sergeant after 27 years . He was trained as a radio technician in 1961, became a technical instructor for the Titan II and Minuteman nuclear missile communications systems. He served as a noncommissioned officer in charge of quality control at Wallace Air Station, Republic of the Phillippines and maintenance superintendent at Yokota Air Base Japan. In 1981, he was assigned to the United States Air Force Senior Non-commissioned Officer Academy at Gunter Air Force Station in Montgomery, where he made his home for the past 19 years. Born Oct 30, 1942, near Afton Oklahoma. Married Carole Collins on Jul 7, 1961, she survives. Burial Hickory Grove cemetery near Grove.
