age 53, of Norcross Georgia, and a former area resident, died Apr 28, 2000. Cooper-Althouse funeral home, Miami.

Born Dec 5, 1946, in Miami to Royce Freeze and Willa Jean Detherage Freeze. An Army veteran, he served during the Vietnam War as a Captain in the Green Berets. He was wounded in combat during three tours of duty in Vietnam. He received many medals including two Purple Hearts. He was disabled because of his wounds. Burial at the Hickory Grove cemetery, near Grove Oklahoma.
