Vinita Oklahoma, died Jun 1, 2000, in a car accident south of White Oak Oklahoma. He was 85. Born Jul 7, 1914, in Vinita, to Edward Bates Frayser and Lydia M. Clark Frayser. An Army veteran, he served during World War II in the Burma Campaign. Last year Frayser was honored as an elder of the Cherokee Nation. He was an author and wrote the book "Cooweescoowee," covering the people of Vinita and Indian Territory. Married Meda M. Mock, 53 years ago in Vinita. Note: See item on Meda M. Mock.
