Edwards, Urcie Ola

age 101, a former Fairland resident, died Oct 19, 2001, Mesa Arizona. Born Nov 5, 1899, at Ballard Missouri to Mark Mabrey and Willie Mosher Mabrey. She contributed on a regular basis to the poetry corner of the Joplin Missouri Globe and Grove Oklahoma newspaper the Sun. for the centennial celebration of the First Baptist church of Fairland she wrote an article of the early days of the church and Fairland. Married Marvin Edwards on Nov 22, 1930, in Tulsa Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1950. Burial at the Fairland cemetery.
