A 1997 graduate of Picher High School, he played football, baseball and was in speech. He entered the U.S. Marine Corp on Mar 18, 1999. Burial in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.

A photo. Gordon Combs was among many who attended at "Patriots Pride" ceremony held in Picher Oklahoma. He lost his son 18 months ago in a military training exercise. Gabriel Clevenger was one of 19 Marines killed when their Ospry plane crashed in Marianna Arizona on Apr 8, 2000. He was 21.
