a photo. Born Sep 13, 1932 in Miami to Lee Chenoweth and Vera Hammel Chenoweth. A Navy veteran, he retired as a lieutenant commander in 1977. During his 23 years of service, he had command of a crew of Hurricane Hunters and flew reconnaissance during the Vietnam War. He completed his last 10 years of duty in Rota Spain. Married Maria del Carmen Aguirre Lanzarote in 1978, she survives. Burial in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
