Vernice Gaither Wilson - Appreciation.

died Feb 2, 2003. She was 91. Born Sep 7, 1911, east of Duenweg Missouri, near Diamond Grove to Artie Mae Paul Gaither and William Edward Gaither. She moved to Picher Okla in 1942 and lived in Eastwood Manor in Commerce Okla for the past three years. She owned and operated a beauty shop in Picher for 35 years. She became a licensed practical nurse in 1968 and worked as a nurse until retiring in 1978. She married James E. Lewis in 1929.
