Williams, Richard O.

Dick Williams, of Miami died Apr 19, 2003. He was 87.

Born Feb 5,1916, in Morton county, Kansas, to John Williams and Mabel Cone Williams. He moved to Miami in 1945. He worked as an apprentice jeweler for Williams Jewelry in Pittsburg Kansas, under his uncle, Al Williams. He was later a watchmaker for Williams Jewelry in Coffeyville Kansas. In 1945, he purchased the Miami Williams Jewelry store and operated it until his health began to fail in 2000. He married Helen E. Crouch on June 29, 1941, in Mindenmines. She preceded him in death on Feb 18, 2003. Burial will be in Nashville cemetery.
