of Macomb Illinois, died Jun 2, 2003. He was 87. Born Dec 14, 1915, in Chicota Texas, to John Vanderburg and Sally Marshall Vanderburg. He taught on the college level for nearly 40 years. Married Robert Josephine Burns on Jun 2, 1940, in Fort Worth Texas, she survives. Burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens cemetery in Macomb.
