Turner, Genevieve Irene Schmidt

of Quapaw Okla died Aug 30, 2003, at a Joplin Missouri hospital. She was 80. Born Feb 11, 1923, in Ottawa county Okla, near Quapaw to Reo Alexander Spicer and Opal Marie Myers Spicer. She grew up near Quapaw and Council House before moving to Kansas City and then to Tulsa Okla. She was of Seneca-Cayuga, Peoria and Wyandotte heritage. Married Emmett Schmidt in 1939. He preceded her in death in Dec 1954. Married Donald Turner in 1957. He preceded her in death on Sep 1, 1991. Burial in Council House cemetery.
