Turner, Elsie Welch

age 87, former Welch Okla resident, died Jun 27, 2002, at the Miami Nursing Center.

Born Oct 3, 1914, in Dover Arkansas to David Lee Floyd and Gussie Coleman Floyd. She spent most of her childhood attending school in the Arkansas area and she moved with her parents to Joplin Missouri, where she attended high school. Married James C. Turner on Apr 14, 1935, he preceded her in death on Jan 1, 1978. After his death Mrs. Turner moved to Welch. Burial in the Ozark Memorial Park cemetery in Joplin Missouri.
