Trussler, Jeff

A photo. Commander Trussler, a Miami area native, is now in command of one of the nations' most powerful warships. In an August 14 ceremony at King's Bay Naval Submarine Base Georgia, he took the helm of the USS Maryland a Trident Ballistic missile Submarine. He enters a prestigious group of only 91 men in the entire naval command to be in charge of a nuclear submarine. Trussler is the son of Phil Trussler and Carole Trussler of Miami. Trussler currently resides in Georgia with his wife, Kirsten Ray Taylor Trussler of South Glastonbury Connecticut.
