Born Dec 21, 1915, in Collie to Jessie Truitt and Victoria Campbell Truitt. He was a manager for the F. W. Woolworth Company for 44 years, retiring in 1980. Married Louise Remy on Jan 10, 1937, in Duncan. She preceded him in death on Apr 9, 1995. Burial in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens cemetery, east of Miami.
