Rowe, Dolores Winifred

of Dallas Texas, died Jan 31, 2003, at her home after a lengthy illness. She was 84. Born Sep 1, 1918, in Turkey Ford Okla to James Ora Rowe and Maude Phenix Rowe. She formerly lived in Grove. For 40 years she worked as an education consultant for the Owsley School in the Wyandotte Okla area. For 13 years she worked as director of the reading program at Northeastern State College, retiring in 1985 from Houghton-Mifflin Publishing Co. Burial will follow in the Olympus cemetery in Grove.
