Ridgway, Freeman Edward

age 83, of Wyandotte Okla, died at 3:10 pm on Feb 9, 2002, at Miami hospital. Born Mar 12, 1918, in Cheyenne to Clyde Ridgway and Cera Ridgway. Lived in the Wyandotte area for approximately six years, moving from Superior Arizona. A veteran, he served in the Army during World War II in New Guinea and the Phillippines. He was awarded a Purple Heart and field commissioned as a second lieutenant. Preceded in death by his first wife, Johnnie Ridgway, and his second wife, Cleo Ridgway. Married Mary Rearrick on Jan 12, 2000, she survives. Burial in Hickory Grove cemetery at Grove Okla. This page is mis-dated as Jan 11, 2002.
