Petitt, Dwight J.

Jack Petitt, of Picher Okla died Dec 1, 2003, at a Joplin Missouri hospital. He was 80.

born Oct 24, 1923, in Picher to Daniel Petitt and Susie Patterson Petitt. Lived in Picher all of his life. A World War II veteran of the Army where he served as a combat engineer in the European Theater. A former Crane Company of Miami employee, he worked at ACE Electric company as a tool grinder until his retirement in 1990. Married Faye Herd on Aug 10, 1957, in Picher, she survives. Burial in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
