Perry, Charles Houston Sr.

age 79, died Aug 4, 2002, at Grove Okla. Born Jun 1, 1923, in Southwest City Missouri to George W. Perry, Sr. and Ollie M. Nuckolls Perry, Sr. A veteran, he served in the Air Force during World War II as a sergeant in North Africa and Italy. He worked for M.W. Kellog for 40 years building oil refineries. He served as mayor of Grove for 12 years. Married Naomi Laverne Alverson on May 4, 1948, in Toms River New Jersey, she preceded him in death Sep 30, 1990. Burial in Olympus cemetery near Grove.
