Pennington, Bernie Ray

of Miami, died Jul 20, 2003, at Tulsa Okla, age 79.

Born Sep 18, 1923, in Fairland Okla to Burnerd Ray Pennington and Portia Vane Crow Pennington. A World War II veteran of the Army, serving in Battery C of the 554th anti-Aircraft Artillery, AW Battalion 12th. He was wounded in France and was awarded the Purple Heart and three Bronze Stars. Married Thelma Louise Wilmoth on Aug 23, 1941 in Miami, she survives. Burial in Fairland cemetery.
