He was an over-the-road truck driver for Roadway Express for 43 years and then drove for Longan Construction Co. of Grove until his retirement. Married Marion Pate in 1946. She preceded him in death in 1989. Cremated, no burial place given. Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary of Joplin. Missouri.
