Nichols, Anthony Clint

Tony' Nichols, of Jay Okla died Feb 17, 2003, at Grove Okla. He was 60. Born Jan 23, 1943, in Harlingen Texas, to Clint Carl Nichols and Virginia Cowan Nichols. He was an Okla Highway patrolman for 28 years, retiring in 1997. Married Claudene Frazier on Aug 12, 1961, in Miami. She survives. Burial in Salina cemetery.

A Jay Okla man died after apparently suffering a heart attack. Nichols was pronounced dead at the scene. Nichols, 60, was southbound when he had the heart attack about one-and-a-half miles north of Jay on State Highway 127. Nichols' vehicle then left the road on the right side before striking a tree where it came to rest, according to Reinecker.
