Nelson, Wynona

of Jay Okla died Feb 9, 2003, at Forrest Retirement Center in Okla City Okla. She was 89. Born Mar 17, 1913, in Stilwell Okla to Samuel J. Starr and Nell Whitmire Starr. She received a teaching certificate from Northeastern State University at Tahlequah Okla and a master's degree from Okla A&M in 1953. She taught at Oak Hill School for 12 years. She taught in the Jay School system from 1947 until retirement in 1976. Married Ralph Nelson on Mar 5, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1984.
