McKee, Jennifer

Jessica Lyle of Picher Okla, and Jennifer McKee of Miami, are two local National Guard members called up for active duty Thursday. Both specialists work in supply, supporting those who repair military helicopters. They have been called for one year of active duty with the possibility that their time will be extended. Lyle joined the National Guard two years ago. Since graduating from Picher High School in 2000, Lyle has attended Northeastern Okla A & M College and Pittsburg Kansas State University where she's majored in English and is leaning toward a career in Law. McKee, a 1997 graduate of Wyandotte Okla High School, has been a guardsman for three years.
