McGrew, John Newland

age 83, of Commerce Okla, died Nov 9, 2002, at his residence.

Born Apr 7, 1919, in Augusta Kansas to Ross McGrew and Bertha Marie Groves McGrew. Lived most of his life in the area except for 26 years in Wichita Kansas. He returned to the area in June 1965. He was a World War II Army veteran. Married Kathryn Keton in Joplin Missouri on Aug 10, 1940, she survives. Burial in the G.A.R. cemetery in Miami.
